We are constructing a grand memorial dedicated to Perunthalaivar Kamarajar at Viruthunagar. The foundation stone-laying ceremony of this hall will be on April 29th, 2007. Recently, I, with my wife Radikaa, invited Congress party leader Sonia Gandhi for this function and she has graciously accepted our invitation.

This memorial hall will be built in an area of 25 acres. The memorial hall will have features such as gallery hall with historically important photographs, light and sound scenes (Son-et-lumiere), conference hall, prayer hall, seminar halls, lodgings for tourists, entertainment facilities for students such as library, parks and many more facilities.

We are confident it will a fitting tribute to one of the greatest sons of Virudhunagar, Perunthalaivar Kamarajar.
